Kumar Aiyer CEO and Founder
Kumar is the founder and Managing Partner of Blue Flame Energy Finance LLC, a start-up company in Carlsbad, CA focused on the commercial and industrial energy sector. Since 2011 he has served as the Managing Partner of CleanFin LLC., a structured-finance advisory firm focused on the sustainability sector. Prior to his career in clean energy finance, he was a portfolio manager and strategist on Wall Street in the residential mortgage and asset backed securities industry. He was a senior portfolio manager at ZAIS Group, a structured credit asset management firm in Red Bank, NJ from 2006 to 2011, working on residential mortgage securities and whole loans. He has also served in senior research strategy roles at Banc of America Securities, Credit Suisse, and Paine Webber.

Abinash Tiwari CIO
Abinash has over 15 years of experience in energy finance, project development, origination and business development. He has developed 250+ MWs and invested $1+ bn in solar PV, storage and other DG projects for Constellation NewEnergy, subsidiary of Exelon Corporation – the largest utility holding company in the country. He has financed $200 MM of energy efficiency projects using securitization transactions. He has also led and advised on $2.5 Bn Energy M&A, project finance and capital raising transactions.
Before BlueFlame, he was director of renewable business development at Constellation and has also worked in investment banking, venture capital and consulting.

Sundeep Amrute CTO and Founder
Sundeep brings deep experience in building technology platforms to BlueFlame. He has led development of tech solutions to help some of the largest financial institutions in the world, including investment banks, hedge funds, and mortgage companies. He is founder and managing member of Street Solutions Inc, a mortgage financial technology SaaS business. He has also worked at Credit Suisse and Nomura as VP.

Before BlueFlame, he was MD in charge of Mortgage Business at Zais Group LLC, Co-Head Residential Mortgages, Head of CDO and Re-insurance, Lehman Brothers, VP Fixed Income Sales at Goldman Sachs.
